Now, let’s dive in!

*Qmochi

This was really yummy. Absolutely delicious.

The texture is soft, similar to warabi-mochi (a type of Japanese jelly-like mochi).
The white one was creamy, and while I wasn’t sure what flavor the black one was, it was so tasty!

These chewy mochi bars, made with something akin to sweet potato and served with a syrup reminiscent of kuromitsu (Japanese black sugar syrup), were lightly sweet and delightfully bouncy.

I already want to have them again!

*Red Bean Soup Signature

Well…
My boyfriend and I couldn’t help but stare at the dish when it arrived.

Here’s what the menu photo looks like:

Overflowing with toppings,, but the reality was quite different, haha.

So, I decided to ask the staff:

“Is this the dish we ordered?”

“Yes! Everything is just hidden underneath!”

Huh, interesting. So, we stirred it up.

After some mixing, the toppings appeared!

First Impressions, the sweetness was subtle and not overpowering—comforting and nostalgic.

The taro was sweet, rich, and incredibly creamy. Also, huge!
The yuyuan (yellow mochi balls) were lightly flavored, with a natural aroma that gave off a healthy, earthy taste.

The Downtown location is spacious, clean, and comfortable.

I felt so relaxed and at ease, enjoying the nostalgia of sweet oshiruko (red bean soup) paired with delicious mochi and taro. It was a heartwarming moment 🙂
